I must have dozed off because when I came to I already had ‘EMAIL MARKETING FOREVER’ stenciled on my shoulder. It looked pretty good so far. The little flying envelope was really cute too. BeeBee mentioned that the next step was the point of no return. I eagerly nodded and told her to get going with the permanent ink. We started chatting about my tattoo choice and I told her the history of Email Marketing and how I had chosen to have my tattoo done at their store because of their creative e-newsletter. She told me that a fellow name Buzz took care of all the marketing but he was out on an errand right now.

Well, as with most bachelor programs, there are a number of “elective” courses that you can take. In the case of getting your bachelor degree in marketing, you’d probably want to take a course or Ver web two in psychology. Why? It’s probably a good idea to get a basic understanding of how people behave if you’re going to try to come up with a marketing plan or advertising campaign that is going to appeal to most people.

Commandment #3 means to show passion for your product by speaking and writing about it with enthusiasm. Talk about what your product can help people accomplish in their lives. If you can’t work up enthusiasm for your own product or business, find another business or product.

When putting together an internet marketing plan you want to make sure that you use strategies that have been proven successful time and time again. These include strategies such as affiliate marketing, and placing ads in different ezines.

What you really DO need is marketing confidence. It is a key ingredient without which your marketing will fail. Of the over 700 people that signed up for a recent series of teleclasses I did on the subject, nearly every one either during the classes or via e-mail told me the same thing: “I am very confident in life but when it comes time to marketing, I get uncertain and afraid.” In short, site (illustrators.ru) they lack marketing confidence. It’s different that regular, “garden-variety” confidence. But what to do to build it up?

And with that we, or rather Grandma and Mr. Pibs, laughed and chatted away the afternoon. Those two hit it off so well I found myself a little bored. Just as well, I could not get Mr. Pibs”marketing strategy’ out of my mind. Well, at least the US postal service would not go out of business anytime soon with Mr. Pibs around. I sat there watching those two laugh it up, and shook my head in disbelief at my grandmother’s Victoria’s Secret curler coverer. Mr. Pibs’ marketing strategy was a lot like those underwear. Old, out of shape, and all sagged out.

We don’t see ourselves as in the marketing game. The truth is, if you are out there running a business, thinking like a marketer has to become your priority. It’s no use having a great service if nobody knows about it, or you.
