jonniejuan7We want to wish you a “Satta Dasa, Mumbadevi zaibulle” and big congratulations to you for your latest venture, Satta Disaran. You may have heard about it, but not really gone much deeper into it. But if you haven’t, it’s about time you did. We’ll talk about everything from where the name came, to the journey to completion, and why it matters to so many Pakistanis.
So, what is Satta Dasa? It means “without dispute or debate”. The term was actually coined by none other than our founder, Captain Muhammad Yousaf, founder of our once-bronzed and turbaned military, and the great Azhar Masood. And Azhar Masood was born in 1827 in a small fishing village called Satta Dasa on the bank of the river Yamuna in what is now Pakistan. He rose to prominence as a young man of 21 years of age, and quickly became known as one of the most formidable and respected young men of his time.
Now, just so you know, the title of this book is not an allusion to the fact that the boy was simply a son of a satta king. Rather, it is a tribute to the leadership and skill he showed in leading his troops into battle and in preserving their heads, as well. In addition to that, you’ll also discover how he handled problems such as the rape of Rawal Pindi. Also, you will gain insight into his tactics during the Boer War. And a great deal of the history of the Satta dynasty can be found here.
You will discover, as you read along, the fact that Muddassar had been a sitting state king before he was called upon to battle by Rawal Pindi. Also, you will find out that he was very closely related to the legendary warrior princess Humayun from the Alwar period. Humayun was the lover of the mighty Rajputana prince; and Muddassar played an important role in saving her from the clutches of the Rana of Jodhpur. It is quite clear that the satta king had great respect for Humayun – especially after she had rescued him from the flames of a fire that had swept through Jodhpur during a battle. This, in turn, impressed the satta king who offered to protect the lady from all attacks, as well as to marry her immediately if she accepted the marriage from him.
Muddassar is also related to the sate of Benaulim sate. You will learn about the life of this great warrior as well as his family in this book. You will find out all about his methods as well as the weaponry with which he fought in the battlefield. The Benaulim sate was in the age of Hajaj, so you will find many interesting military details about the various battles fought during this era. Some other interesting topics in this book include the way in which Muddassar organized his army, the ways in which he punished the criminals within his army and much more.
If you are looking for a new adventure and want to read a book that will make you smarter, sharper, tougher and better at handling yourself and your affairs than you ever thought possible, you will definitely enjoy “Satta Disawar”. I am sure you will give this book a huge welcome especially if you are someone who has always been interested in the lives of various great warriors from the past and who are very eager to read something about them right now. If you are somebody who wants to feel tough, then this book is the perfect choice for you. Give it a try today and you will certainly be glad you did!
